Ada Derana, Sri Lanka’s premier news provider today announced the launch of Sri Lanka’s first official news app for Windows 8 connected devices. The innovative app is aimed at users of both the PC and mobile versions of Microsoft Windows namely Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 app. Users can download the app for free from the Windows Phone Store and Windows Store.

 

Ada Derana has over the years become a household name in Sri Lanka by offering Sri Lankan news across a wide spectrum of delivery networks.  www.adaderana.lk is currently ranked the popular most tri-lingual website among Sri Lankans and Ada Derana also operates the widely popular sms breaking news service.

 

With the aim of innovation Ada Derana has launched apps for all the popular mobile networks namely Android, Apple and Blackberry.
