Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has slammed the Government over its failure to fulfill the election vows that it had made during the elections.

The observation was made while speaking at a meeting held in Anamaduwa.

“The Government has failed to fulfill the election promises that it had given to the people on free Wi-Fi and about the proposed Volkswagen project,” he added.

Rajapaksa also accused the Government of promoting the projects that launched during his term under Mahinda Chinthana program. “But earlier, they used to criticize my development projects,” he added.
