VIDEO: Animal cruelty or religious cruelty?

A large number of Buddhist clergy and laymen marched towards the Kali-Kovil in Munneswaram today (Aug 26) in a protest organised by the Multi-Religious Alliance for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, against animal sacrifice at the annual feast of the Kovil. A heated argument between the representatives of the religious groups, Kovil priests and devotees and police officers ensued.
