VIDEO: Protestors block trains...

Several trains operating on the Colombo-Kandy track were delayed today (23) due to a protest blocking the railway track at the Walpola station near Ragama. A group of residents of Walpola were engaged in a protest against the construction of the Northern Expressway. The protest was reportedly organized due to the construction of the expressway being carried out with alleged changes made to the initial plans. (Pix by – Aruna Shantha/Samith Roshan)
