VIDEO: Khurshid meets President..

India’s Minister of External Affairs Salman Khurshid called on President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the President’s House this morning (8). While addressing a number of issues of mutual interest, the discussion between President Rajapaksa and Mr. Khurshid focused on developing strategies for the two countries to coordinate more closely towards further strengthening relations. The High Commissioner of India in Colombo Y.K. Sinha accompanied Mr. Khurshid. Minister of External Affairs Prof. G.L. Peiris, Minister of Traditional Industries and Small Enterprise Development Douglas Devananda, Minister of Power and Energy Pavithra Wanniarachchi, Monitoring MP of the Ministry of External Affairs Sajin de Vass Gunawardena, Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga were also present.
