The Court of Appeal today decided to consider the case filed against the President of GMOA Dr. Anuruddha Padeniya on contempt charges. Chairman of the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) Prof. Carlo Fonseka was also seen interacting with Dr Padeniya at the court premises.

Meanwhile the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) also staged a protest march in Colombo today (22) coinciding with their 24 hour strike action. Pic By – Eranga Perera
