Gotabaya gets a big welcome…

Several MPs of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) and a large number of supporters had gathered at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake on Friday (12) to welcome former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa, who arrived in Sri Lanka following a personal visit to the US. Speaking to reporters at the airport, Rajapaksa said that he had successfully concluded all necessary steps to renounce his US citizenship before returning to the country.
