The National Sangha Council staged a Satyagraha at Independence Square in Colombo on Wednesday (22) demanding the removal of Minister Rishad Bathiudeen, Western Province Governor Azath Salley and Easter Province Governor M.L.A.M. Hizbullah. The Buddhist monks later marched towards the Presidential Secretariat and handed over a letter addressed to the President. MP Venerable Athuraliye Rathana Thero also attended the campaign.
