Government executives stage a protest in front of the Home Affairs Ministry in Colombo over an issue of allowance discrepancies. The Members of the Joint Committee of Government Executive Officers also launched an island-wide token strike today (04).
Officers of 12 government services including Ayurveda Medical, Engineering, Scientific Services, Planning, Architecture, Surveyor, Accountant, Education, and Administration participated in the strike.
