Fatal crash of Air Force craft...

An aircraft belonging to Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) crashed in Haputale area this morning (03).

All four of the Air Force personnel who were on board at the time of the incident have been killed in the crash, the SLAF spokesperson said.

The aircraft took off from Weerawila with four Air Force personnel.

Squadron Leader WAMBNB Weebedda, Flight Lieutenant KMDL Kulathunga, Supporting Staff members Sergeant DWRW Kumara and LAC Hettiarachchi were accordingly killed in the fatal crash.
