Independence celebrated island-wide…

The 72nd National Day was celebrated by Sri Lankans island-wide today (04). The main ceremony was held under the patronage of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, at the Independence Square this morning while, many other separate events were held by various state and private institutions and communities around the country. Activities including religious observances, tree-planting events, sports events were held to mark the day.
