Harthal in Batticaloa...

A Harthal campaign was launched in the Batticaloa Town this morning (12) in protest over the decision to place foreign nationals arriving in the country quarantined at the Batticaloa private campus premises. The individuals engaged in the Harthal campaign state that they have no objection to the quarantine of Sri Lankan nationals at the Batticaloa campus as it is our duty to safeguard our own, but oppose the quarantine of foreigners at the same location.
