 Expatriates living in European countries gathered under the Sri Lankan national flag in front of the UN head office, Geneva, Switzerland in order to carry out a demonstration against the expert panel appointed by Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. Over 1000 Sri Lankan’s were seen taking part in the event holding banners, posters and waving Sri Lankan flags. Following the demonstrations a letter was handed over to Ban Ki-moon stating that the expert panel on Sri Lanka be abolished. (Pics courtesy Apiwenuwenapi Italy)
