Last solar eclipse till 2022...

Sri Lanka on June 21 witnessed a partial annular solar eclipse from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm. The Eclipse lasted for nearly 2 hours and 50 minutes with about 30 percent of the solar disk covered by the moon at the time of the maximum eclipse. This is the last solar eclipse that could be viewed by Sri Lanka for another 02 years. The next solar eclipse is due to be sighted on October 22, 2022.
