UNP’s new Deputy Leader…

Former State Minister Ruwan Wijewardene congratulated by supporters outside the UNP headquarters – Sirikotha after he was elected as the new Deputy Leader of the United National Party (UNP) following a secret ballot during the party’s Working Committee meeting on Monday (14). Former minister Ravi Karunanayake had also contested for the position, however Wijewardene was elected to the position by a majority of 18 votes. (Pic By - Osanda Daham Nimsara)
