Development officers’ protest…

The Combined Development Officers’ Center commenced a protest march in Colombo today (February 15) based on several demands including calling the government to withdraw the decision taken to suspend the service period of 5 months. The protest march commenced near the Viharamahadevi Park and continued up until Lipton Roundabout where they held a protest. Subsequently, the protesters dispersed after a discussion with Prime Minister’s Secretary at Temple Trees secured them a meeting next week. Photos by: Sanjeewa Lasantha
