Protest over expressway project...

A group of residents of Pothuarawa staged a protest in front of the Central Environmental Authority (CEA) this morning demanding that the construction of the proposed Athurugiriya Elevated Highway Project be carried out according to the initial project plan and not as per the alternate proposal, which they say would adversely affects the Pothuarawa residential area.
