Hidden stocks of sugar…

A raid carried out on September 01 recovered 29,000 metric tons of sugar concealed in warehouses, the Commissioner General of Essential Services stated. The recovered stocks will be cleared and distributed to government sales outlets such as Sathosa and Cooperative outlets for sale at fair prices. Photos by: Sanjeewa Lasantha
