A peaceful protest was staged by the Professional Tour Guide Alliance (PTGA) near the Prime Minister’s Office in Colombo, in support of the friendship between Russia and Sri Lanka. The protesters, who condemned the Sri Lankan authorities for detaining a recent Russian flight, later marched towards the Russian Embassy in Colombo and handed over a letter.
