International Day of Yoga...

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe participates in an event organized by the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka and the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (the cultural arm of the High Commission of India) at the iconic Independence Square on Tuesday (June 21) in Colombo, to mark the 8th International Day of Yoga. 

Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha, Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Vidura Wickramanayaka, Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera, Minister of Irrigation and Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Roshan Ranasinghe, Members of Parliament Mano Ganesan, M.A. Sumanthiran, Palani Digambaram, M. Udayakumar and other senior dignitaries attended the event as Guests of Honour. 

Acting High Commissioner of India, Mr. Vinod K. Jacob, officials and staff of the High Commission, hundreds of yoga enthusiasts from all over Sri Lanka also participated in the event.
