General Secretary of the Ceylon Teachers’ Union (CTU) Joseph Stalin who was granted bail by the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court on Monday (08), participates in a protest held at Lipton Circus a few hours later, against the arrest of protesters and activists. The trade union leader was arrested last Wednesday (03), for allegedly violating a court order during a protest at Bank of Ceylon Mawatha on May 28. Pic By - Eranga Perera
