President receives ceremonial welcome in India…

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, on his maiden foreign visit since assuming office, was accorded a grand ceremonial welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi, the official residence of the Indian President on Monday (16). The event marked the commencement of his three-day official visit to India.  

Indian President Droupadi Murmu, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several Indian ministers were present at the ceremony to extend a warm reception to the Sri Lankan leader.
