JVP MP Sunil Handunneththi told Ada Derana that he and three others had been assaulted during a meeting held at a former MP’s residence in Jaffna today.
When contact the Director General of the Media Centre for National Security Lakshman Hulugalla said that the government had nothing to do with the assault on JVP MP Handunneththi and that a group of Tamil civilians had attacked him.
