42 students hospitalised after wasp attack at school in Kinniya

At least 42 students of a school in Kinniya Police division have been admitted to the hospital this morning (30), following a wasp attack.

The wasp attack has occurred after a wasp’s nest which was located on the roof of a school building was disturbed, said Kinniya Police.

A total of 42 students who were injured in the wasp attack have been admitted to the Kinniya Base Hospital while they are reportedly aged between 10 to 15 years.

Kinniya Police is conducting further investigations into the incident.
