Kotte Dy. Mayor released on bail

The four people including Kotte Municipal Council Deputy Mayor Janaka Ranawaka who were arrested yesterday for the assault and forcible entry into the TV Derana studio complex at Delkanda, have been released on bail.
The Deputy Mayor along with several others had entered the TV Derana studio complex at Delkanda and assaulted an employee yesterday afternoon (October 11). A complaint over the incident had been lodged with the Mirihana Police following the incident.
Janaka Ranawaka and three others were arrested by the Police later on yesterday
