58 arrested in Colombo by CID over online scams

A group of 58 Sri Lankans suspected to be involved in online financial fraud have been arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at Havelock Road in Colombo. 

The group was reportedly arrested while staying in a luxury housing complex at Havelock Road.

The CID is conducting further investigations into the arrested suspects.
