NPP, SJB, NDF win seats in Kalutara District

The Election Commission of Sri Lanka has released the final results of the Kalutara District in the 2024 General Election with the National People’s Power (NPP) polling more than 66% of the total votes in the district. 

NPP has polled 452,398 votes to win the district while the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) is second with 53,200 votes (18.84%).

Accordingly, the NPP has secured 8 seats in the district while the SJB has won two seats and the NDF a single seat in the district. 

National People’s Power (NPP) – 452,398 (8 seats)
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) – 128,932 (2 seats)
New Democratic Front (NDF) – 34,257 (1 seat)
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) – 27,072
‘Sarvajana Balaya’ (SRJB) – 13,564
