Matara District preferential vote results released

The preferential vote results of the Matara District in the 2024 General Election have been released.

NPP’s Sunil Hadunneththi has polled the highest number of preferential votes in the Matara District. 

Chathura Galappaththi has received the highest preferential votes from the SJB to secure its only seat.
