IUSF writes to foreign embassies

The Inter University Student Federation is reported to have sent a letter to several foreign embassies in the country seeking an opportunity to discuss with them the present university situation.

 

 

The letters have been forwarded to the Cuban, Chinese, Russian ambassadors as well as to the Indian High Commissioner in Sri Lanka.

 

 

While expressing that over 203 university students have currently been suspended while another 27 have been placed under remand custody, the Acting Convenor of the IUSF, Sanjeeva Bandara also requests of an opportunity to clarify the present situation that has risen at universities.
