Hundred and thirteen Sri Lankan workers who were stranded in Kuwait are scheduled to return to the country today, the Foreign Employment Bureau told Ada Derana. These workers had been taking refuge at the Lankan embassy in Kuwait.

They had sought refuge after they lost employment and faced various problems in Kuwait. Eight men are among the 113 scheduled to arrive today. After discussions with the Embassy and Kuwaiti authorities the SLFEB had made arrangements to bring back the workers.
