VIDEO: 60,000 families affected by floods

60,000 persons have been displaced due to flooding in Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara, Disaster Management Minister A.H.M. Fowzie said at a press briefing today. The Minister added that Rs. 10 million for Colombo and Rs. 5 million for Gampaha and Kaluthara have been allocated to provide relief for those affected.



200,000 persons have been affected and measures to provide relief services have been placed, Fowzie said.
