Mainly fair weather expected over most parts of the island

The Department of Meteorology says that mainly fair weather will prevail over most parts of the island.

Meanwhile, cold weather can be expected in the Northern, North-central, Eastern, North-western and Central provinces during the early morning.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in North-central, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-western and Uva provinces during the morning, the department said.
