Suspect arrested while transporting illegal painkillers worth Rs. 1 billion

The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) has arrested a person while transporting a large stock of illegal painkiller pills in a van on the Colombo-Negombo main road, Ada Derana reporter said.
The seized stock of pills, which are also used by drug addicts, are estimated to be valued at around Rs. 1 billion.
