Colombo, Nov 16 (PTI) Sri Lankan police said today that they were quizzing at least three women and a man for allegedly acting in locally made pornographic movies.

The move was taken following last week’’s action to publicise portraits of individuals who had acted in video clips which school children had accessed on their mobile phones.

The four individuals were rounded up following the public notice.

Sri Lankan police’’s Child and Women’’s Bureau said they are questioning them for their alleged role in pornographic movies.

Police added that the juvenile court will be moved yet again on November 18 for action against over 100 more pornographic websites.

The present crackdown has already resulted in blocking over 800 websites carrying pornographic pictures.

The police crackdown of pornographic websites came closely on the heels of arresting of couples in public places for indecent behaviour.
