VIDEO: Electricity for every family by 2012 - President

By the year 2012 every family in Sri Lanka will get electricity, President Mahinda Rajapaksa said during his inauguration speech today.
With the defeat of terrorism we metaphorically came out of darkness, by 2012 the country would literarily come out of the darkness, ha stated after taking oaths for the second term as President.
We have to ensure that we create a future generation that is trilingual and also the growth in computer literacy should reach 75% within Sri Lanka, he said.
“Any sort of racial, religious or even political discrimination in the country has to be entirely wiped off” the President exclaimed.
