New cabinet to be sworn in tomorrow

The new cabinet will be sworn in tomorrow before President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Presidential Secretariat’s office, President’s Media stated. Therefore all cabinet Ministers and Deputy Ministers who are being appointed after the commencement of the President’s second term will take oaths at 10.00am tomorrow (22 November).


While many of the current Ministries are scheduled to shift hands tomorrow the roles of each Ministry is also expected to be changed, according to sources.


It has also been said that several Deputy Ministers will be allocated with Ministerial posts at tomorrow’s event.
