State ceremony for anointing oil for Avurudu to be held in Kandy

The state ceremony for anointing oil for the Sinhala Tamil New Year will be held at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic premises in Kandy.
The ceremony will be held at the auspicious time of 09.04 a.m. on Wednesday, 16 April, at the Sri Natha Devalaya premises within the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy.
