AG directed to file contempt charges against Deshabandu Tennakoon

The Matara Magistrate’s Court has decided that IGP Deshabandu Tennakoon has committed contempt of court by bringing his vehicle inside the court premises on April 10, 2025. 

Accordingly, the court has directed the Attorney General to take appropriate legal action before the Appeals Court.
