Mobile phone recovered from ‘Harak Kata’ at Tangalle Old Prison

A mobile phone has been recovered from the possession of Nadun Chinthaka, alias ‘Harak Kata’, an underworld figure detained at the Tangalle Old Prison by the Terrorist Investigation Division (TID).

It is unknown how he had managed to obtain the mobile phone while being held under tight security. 

However, further police investigations into the incident are underway.
