30 injured in bus accident in Beliatta

A head-on collision between a Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) bus and a private bus in Beliatta has resulted in injuries to at least 30 individuals.

The accident occurred this morning.

The injured have been admitted to the Tangalle and Beliatta hospitals, Police said.  

The Beliatta Police is conducting further investigations.
