The National People’s Power has secured the Chilaw Urban Council of the Puttalam District.
National People’s Power (NPP) – 4,820 (9 seats)
Independent group - 2,949 (6 seats)
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) – 1,825 (4 seats)
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) – 281 (1 seats)
