The National People’s Power has claimed victory in the Ja-Ela Urban Council of the Gampaha District. 

National People’s Power (NPP) – 7,562 (9 seats)
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) – 3,875 (4 seats)
Independent Group – 1,061 (1 seat)
United National Party (UNP) – 690 (1 seat)
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) – 610 (1 seat)
