Karu agrees to take utmost action against Range Bandara’s attackers

UNP Deputy Leader Karu Jayasuriya has agreed to take extreme measures in order to punish those responsible for the assault on Parliamentarian Palitha Range Bandara, says the United National Party Puththalam District Youth Front.
Karu Jayasuriya had agreed to this at a discussion held yesterday (December 03), President of the front Asela Premalal stated.
The Youth Front had held a demonstration in front of the UNP headquarters (Sirikotha) protesting that an impartial disciplinary inquiry had not been conducted regarding the attack on MP Palitha Range Bandara and also to treat the issue fairly.
Following the protest they had received an invitation to meet with the Deputy Leader and he had agreed to provide a fair decision within a week, Asela Premalal added.
