Two suspects arrested with 101kg of heroin in Weeraketiya

UPDATE: Two individuals have been arrested for the possession of 101.47 kilograms of heroin during a special raid conducted in Weeraketiya this morning (22), Sri Lanka Police said.
The raid was carried out based on information received by the Weeraketiya Police and took place at a house in Athubode.
Police said officers seized the heroin, which was packed and hidden inside the house.
Officers are currently questioning the arrested duo pertaining to the incident.
Two individuals have been arrested with 100 kilograms of narcotics in Weeraketiya, Police said.
