UPDATED: (6.39 p.m.) - The Deputy Commissioner and two officials of the Department of Motor Traffic (DMT), who were arrested on bribery charges, have been remanded until June 06 by the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court.


A Deputy Commissioner and two officials of the Department of Motor Traffic (DMT) have been arrested by officers of the Bribery Commission for the possession of Rs. 4 million in cash, believed to have been collected from soliciting bribes.
