Power disruptions reported in several areas of Colombo and Kalutara

Several areas in Colombo and Kalutara experienced power disruptions earlier today (June 6) due to a tripping of the Biyagama–Pannipitiya main transmission line, the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) confirmed.

According to the CEB, the electricity supply has been restored in most of the affected areas, while restoration efforts are continuing in the remaining locations.
