Several schools in Anuradhapura closed during Poson festival

The Provincial Department of Education in North Central Province, has announced that several schools in the Anuradhapura area will remain closed from today until June 12 in observance of Poson festival.
Accordingly, the department stated that a total of 12 schools located in and around the Anuradhapura city will remain closed during this period.
National Poson Week commenced today and will continue until June 13.
