Shooting incident reported in Kalubowila

Two unidentified individuals, who arrived on a motorcycle, opened fire at a residence along Temple Road in Kalubowila, early this morning (15), police stated.
According to police, the suspects fired at the gate and in the direction of the house and fled the scene.
No injuries or casualties have been reported as a result of the shooting, police noted.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the shooting may have been as a result of a financial dispute.
Further investigations are being conducted by the Crimes Investigation Unit of the Kohuwala Police.
