Mega Power lottery creates history with Rs.474 mn winner

The largest lottery prize in Sri Lanka’s history was won yesterday (16).
It was the grand prize of Rs. 474,599,422 from draw number 2210 of the National Lotteries Board’s Mega Power lottery.
The winning lottery ticket was sold by a sales agent from Gokarella.
Previously, the record for the largest lottery prize in Sri Lanka was Rs. 230 million which was also from the Mega Power lottery.
