Two inmates at Boossa Prison stage roof protest

Two inmates of Boossa Prison commenced a protest today (June 20) by climbing onto the roof of the prison to oppose the intensive searches being conducted inside the facility.

Earlier, on June 18, five inmates had staged a similar protest by climbing onto the prison roof in response to these searches. It has been reported that their protest has since ended.
